List Description
My interest in sci-fi, in part, has to do with the fact that it allows me to expand my mind by helping me think differently, or think new thoughts that I might not have had otherwise. Here are some movies that I think epitomize my fascination with science fiction. Let me know what you think of my examples and if you have other suggestions I should check, please put them in the comments. test

I usually think of myself as someone who doesn't like sci-fi or futuristic films. I'm much more inclined toward documentaries and films based on true stories! But reading this list and the film summaries has made me rethink those preferences. As Kamal says in the list description, good sci-fi films can help us expand our minds, think differently, and get new ideas! After pondering his list, I was surprised to realize that I've seen quite a few sci-fi films that I really enjoyed, including "The Minority Report," "Vanilla Sky," "A.I. Artificial Intelligence," "Cocoon," "The Age of Adaline," and "Contact" (which is on Kamal's list). Thank you, Kamal, for the mind expansion!

These are all great choices! I would recommend adding Gattaca to the list.
